Admit it. There are times when your shoe stack looks like this.

It’s a real mess and finding a really good shoe rack will need both of your time and money.

Ananda from A Piece of Rainbow came up with a clever DIY idea for a shoe rack – use old cardboards!  The inspiration came from the idea that we don’t really need to see both shoes side by side on a rack. And it’s true, right? We just need our shoes to stop looking like a mess at home.

To get started with organizing, you’ll need old cardboards, scissors/cutter, ruler, and duct tape.

Get your measurements (shoe size and the length of cardboard module), cut your old cardboards, turn them into triangular tubes, and stack them together to form a shoe rack. Ananda made a three-level shoe rack that can fit 13 pairs of shoes plus an additional top layer for boots.

I love the part where she added a bit more of hue with two colors of duct tape. You can do more color combination with yours too!
